Blocking Cards Automatically & Time-Based Policies

When you need to make sure priority tasks get highlighted consistently use the blocked card runtime policy or set up a time-based policy so your cards know to keep time all by themselves.

  1. Child Card is Blocked

This policy will automatically block a parent card when ANY of its child cards is blocked.

  2. All Children are Unblocked

This policy will automatically unblock a parent card when all of its children cards are unblocked.

  3. Time-Based Policies

This policy will automatically update, move, or send notifications when a time-related rule is evaluated as TRUE. A typical example would be to send a notification email one day before a deadline or to move a card to a specific column when its start date is approaching.
